Kitty Role Model

Ninja Log: Kitty Date 30

Every feline must have a role model in order to succeed in their mission to gain optimum attention.

Some go for the 'pet me or die' method adopting the fear effect utilised by the graceful panther.

I on the other hand go for the 'pet me or I'll irritate you so much you will go insane.'

My role model is Simon's Cat..... now most of you might have heard of him, but for those who haven't I strongly recommend you take a peak at his videos. If you have a kitty take a moment to consider how he/she gets your attention!

Creature Swap

Ninja Log: Kitty Date 29

Today was one exciting day. I woke up with a stretch and bit of a scratch-fest on the new sofa cover.... just to please the Kitty Creator. I'm sure she loves it when I turn her furniture legs into pieces of kitty clawed artwork.

I then popped outside for my morning prowl and discovered a little box had been left by Mr. Postie! I had the strangest feeling that I was being watched.... but I haven't got any clue as to why.

It took me a while to claw my way through the wrapping, but when I finished I was thrilled to discover a little felt kitty to add to my army. He introduced himself as Herbert, and a fine fellow he is too!

He also brought with him a little monkey creature.... called Frederick.

I believe he was meant for the Kitty Creator, but as with everyone who comes to visit he preferred my company to hers. I've tried to explain it to her before, sometimes the love for the Ninja One is just too strong.

If you would like your own Herbert or Frederick (Freddie even comes as an iPhone case!!) go and hunt for MiniFelts!!

The homecoming

Ninja Log: Kitty Date 28

Today I returned home...... I had run out of kibble bits and was in need of treats so I forgave the Kitty Creator for her lack of attention. I was pleased to find out that she'd made an extra tubby kitty as part of a creature swap on Folksy whilst I was away. This means that there is one more kitty warrior out there! Hurrah
I was greeted by Maud the sock bunny who had apparently missed me. I gave her the present I picked especially for her - a lime. Ask no questions.
I was most pleased to find that the Kitty Creator had also made me three new scarves. Which I promtly modelled for little Maud. You'll notice how once again my owner has misplaced her own camera and was using the male bipedal creature's contraption - she still can't figure out how to use the macro function!
I may be a crabby kitty, but I am also very generous. So I gave a neck warmer to Maud. And she in turn decided to give one to the lime.... which she has now named Limo and is her new BFF...

Travels out of irritation

Ninja log: Kitty Date 27:

Right, I've had enough. Kitty Creator has spent far too much time creating goods other than evil warriors for her craft fair. I am the Ninja One and I have no interest in her 76 items that she's managed to make in 2 weeks. So I decided to take a trip, I packed my kitty treats and was off. You'll notice the lack of a scarf..... again... I am not amused!

My trip was interesting and I managed to visit some big sights...
Big Ben
Paris
India
 New York
Although, hanging out down under did give me a bit of a headache, they really should change the perspective there.

Literature Kitty

Ninja Log: Kitty Date 26

I think of myself as an extremely well versed kitty, academic in level when it comes to literature. I challenge myself with classics as well as a few modern novels. I find that grasping the English Language (rather then Kitteh Lingo) helps when I am ordering the Kitty Creator about. When I was using my native tongue she used to get all gooey and pet me.... outrageous!! Doesn't she yet know that NOBODYTOUCHES THE DO - I spend hours grooming my fur to perfection, it is unacceptable for her to ruin my styling.

There are times, however, when I like to immerse myself in a more challenging read. One that really gets my synapses firing.... I give you the I can has cheezburger book....

It features real life stories from kittehs around the globe - tales of bravery, drama and love.... well love is going a little far, that emotion only really relates to cheeseburgers, not humans. Unfortunately these bipedal creatures tend to get confused.

New blog find!

Ninja Log: Kitty Date 25:

I've found a blog that I absolutely adore and spent most of yesterday reading. I wanted to share it with you all! It's run by a wonderful lady called Betz White who makes the most unbelievable cupcake pincushions.  I suggest you all grab yourself a cuppa and make time to sit down and read it. The kitty creator is now desperately hunting for fair isle jumpers after being inspired by this blog!

Another S&R takeover

Sugar & Rhubarb, and Ninja Kitty are in another blog interview!

Please take a look and start following Flutterbies blog!

Bye bye Bertha!

Ninja Log: Kitty Date 24:

Today was a sad day... and rather terrifying as the Kitty Creator seems to have reached a rage of epic proportions! Not even tea is helping her. Bertha has finally given up all hope. She struggled to make two Harris Tweed iPhone cases and then couldn't take it anymore. The loops on the underside of the stitching expressed her level of exhaustion....

00h indeed Bertha, 00h indeed...

So I helped to pack her up, foot pedal and all ready for the lovely Michael to come and pick her up tomorrow afternoon. She'll be taken back to his Janome shop in Leeds Kirkgate Market, and will hopefully return after three days feeling as refreshed as if she'd been in Mexico for a month.

The Creator's mood did lift slightly when in her rush to find a God-like sewing machine fixer in town she came across some yummy cotton fabric at Samuel Taylor. Naughty indeed, but she's convinced that it will make some cool iPhone cases and tea cosies... I've expressed an interest in a kitty basket in said fabric, but since she's failed to even make me a scarf as yet, my hopes aren't high.

The light tent arrives

Ninja Log: Kitty Date 23:

Today I opened the door to survey this sunshine we've suddenly been having when I was greeted by a little parcel. 'Hurrah!' i thought 'it must be fanmail.'

But where on earth was it from.... Guernsey. 'Maybe it's my very own cow so that I can drink cream forever' I whispered out loud....

.....Alas it was neither of these things. It was a little white disc ....

.....and when I touched it it suddenly flew open with the force of 10,000 lions, hit me in the face and bounced onto the patio floor.

Kitty Creator has informed me that this little tent will help make me look more beautiful in photos. Unfortunately, it's been 3 hours since it flew open and she's not managed to get it back into the bag.

Note to self: in order to distract human so operation 'Milk Raid' can commence give her a rubix-cube-like piece of equipment.... cunning!

Kitty undercover!!

Ninja Log: Kitty Date 22:
Today I discovered that the Kitty Creator had made two little hats for new baby Hocking. They were pretty indeed, but also useful for a cunning plan to frighten the life out of Comic Book Kitty. He's been getting a little too big for his boots around here, so Maud and I decided to bring him down a peg or two!!

Popping the hat on Maud was good fun... she looked so silly!

We waited for the Comic Book one to stroll on past us... he does his usual lap of the house at around 14:30. Maud couldn't stop giggling but I poked her in her BS safety filling ribs and she soon hushed down... Then he approached!

We pounced!! Bwahahahahaha

Note to self: baby hats useful for surprise attacks
